BIMINI BIG GAME CLUB – Bimini Bahamas
Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina is a boutique resort situated close to everything in Alice Town, Bimini, with beautifully decorated rooms, cottages and suites. The resort also is home to the Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill, fresh water swimming pool, Pool Bar, Big Game Dive Shop and a 75 slip full service Marina.
The Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perched on the 2nd floor overlooking the resort’s marina and bonefish flats of Alice Town, guests can choose from indoor dining or open air dining on the deck. The Big Game Dive Shop with a full schedule of scuba diving, snorkeling excursions, scuba diving lessons and rental equipment. The resort’s dive boat is the Bimini Blue, a 60’ twin engine glass bottom boat that transports customers in comfort and is equipped with onboard restroom. The shop also has scuba diving lessons and specialty training courses available. Kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles are available for resort guest use.
The Bimini Big Game Club Marina also has a 75 slip full service marina popular for boating, yachting and fishing. Marina amenities include: full shower and bathroom facilities, electric and water 30/50/100 amps, 3 phase hook up, ice and trash service for guest use. The resort is also a perfect place for small groups to meet. With a combined space of 2,100 square feet, the Hemingway Rum Bar and Gulfstream Conference Center can accommodate a group up to 60 persons for meetings, dining and receptions.
Bimini Big Game Club is located on the island of North Bimini. The resort was founded 1947, and for generations has been home away from home for visitors from virtually the far corners of the world.
Bimini is the westernmost district of the Bahamas and comprises a chain of islands located about 53 miles (81 km) due east of Miami. Bimini is the closest point in the Bahamas to the mainland United States and approximately 137 miles (209 km) west-northwest of Nassau.
By Air: Fly Silver Airways or Cape Air between Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the North Seaplane Base in Bimini (NSB). Fly Cape Air between Miami Seaplane Base at Watson Island (MPB) and North Seaplane Base in Bimini (NSB). Island Air Charters offers both scheduled flights and affordable charter flights to Bimini from the Sheltair complex at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Once you exit the airport terminal building there are taxi vans waiting that will take you to the ferry dock on South Bimini, you then will board a water taxi that will drop you off at the Big Game Club Resort dock. The cost of the combined transfer $7 per person, payable in cash and takes approximately 10 minutes.
By Boat: Upon arrival to the marina, you must clear your vessel and crew with Bahamas Customs & Immigration, which is located a short stroll from the marina on the resort property. All boaters entering The Bahamas are required to pay an entry fee: for boats up to 30′, the fee is $150. For boats over 30′, the fee is $300.
For guests traveling by boat, the marina at Bimini Big Game Blue offers 75 slips and on- site Bahamian Customs and Immigration. Bahamas Customs and Immigration office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Officers are on call during holidays and weekends. There is no overtime charge.
The marina accommodates yachts up to 140 ft LOA with a Controlling Depth of 9 feet mlw. Dogs permitted in the marina area only. Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina supports the Shark-Free Marinas Initiative in the Bahamas region.

Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill (BGBG) is open all day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, or grab a stool at the bar and catch the game on our big screen TV.
Sharkies, the beach bar, is open Thursday and Saturday nights for local fish fry and BBQ.

Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina is home to the Big Game Dive Shop, a PADI Dive Center. The dive shop offers 3 scheduled dives per day to the reefs, wrecks, walls, Atlantis Road, plus advanced and open water certification PADI courses, PADI specialty courses, and equipment rental. In addition to diving, we offer snorkel excursions, swim with the dolphins, and shark encounters.
The dive shop’s fleet includes Bimini Blue, a 60 foot glass bottomed boat that can accommodate 25 – 30 divers and all their gear in comfort. Equipped with safety equipment and a rest room – divers will enjoy the normal 15 – 20 minute cruise to the popular dive sites of Bimini. The dive shop also has a smaller boat, Tranquility, to accommodate groups of 4 or less.
