Music: Brothers Osborne Know How To Mix Their Rum

Starin’ at the prettiest part of this powder keg world
Sittin’ with the finest example of a beautiful girl
If we hadn’t hit the brakes, we’d have no idea
Paradise was hidin’ right here

Nashville singer/songwriter duo Brothers Osborne have released their new single “Rum” to country radio. Any song titled “Rum” is something I must share with you Castaways!  The Brothers, TJ and John, wrote “Rum” with fellow Nashville songwriter Barry Dean.

“Rum,” the kick back, feel good song from the Maryland natives, is a subtle reminder to take a moment, slow down, celebrate being with those you enjoy surrounding yourself with and create your own paradise; even if you are landlocked.

After moving to Nashville, Brothers Osborne began writing and playing every open-mic in town that they could. In 2012 the brothers signed to EMI Nashville (part of the Universal Music Group Nashville).

Brothers Osborne have opened up shows for Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson and Thompson Square.

A great feel good song for you all, I hope you enjoy it!

After watching a couple more clips of these guys, I’m convinced they have something going for them. I honestly love Pawn Shop album and these guys put on a hell of a live show
