Irish Trash Can Drink Recipe

After one sip you’ll be holding on to the railing.

I’m not sure if this cocktail meets the strict requirements of a Boat Drink but we’ll let it slide since it’s St. Patrick’s day.  Besides, it two of my favorite things in it…a bit of rum and Red Bull.  Not a fan of the peach schnapps but I’d figure if you start with a few green beers you won’t taste the peach at all and the Red Bull will take over.

Have you had an Irish Trash Can?  I’ve yet had the pleasure of wetting my whistle with this Irish friend.  I’ve been seduced by it’s cousin the Irish Car Bomb a time or two in college though (Didn’t we all?). I am quite certain you and I will fall prey to one of these Irish beasts tonight. Cheers.

Irish Trash Can Recipe

1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz triple sec
1 can Red Bull® energy drink

Fill glass full of ice, then add all liquors and stir. Add full can of Red Bull. It will float and slowly seep down the glass, turning the mix green, hence the name Irish Trash Can.

Don’t have to many or you’ll wind up in a trash can.  Have a happy and safe St. Patrick’s Day. Cheers!

Over and out from somewhere south,
