Location and scarcity.
Location has a way of making things better. For example; rum drinks taste better at a beach bar, conch fritters are better in The Bahamas, and reggae flows through you a little smoother in Jamaica.
Listening to the laid back country and island beats of Kenny Chesney sounds good in the car, at home, at work, and just about any other place. But make your listening location on the coast of somewhere beautiful like Fort Lauderdale Beach, do it live, and now you have something special. Location is everything.
Scarcity is the lack of something. Knowing there is a limited amount of something makes us want it even more. Our Caribbean cowboy friend Mr. Chesney is not touring in 2017. He is however playing a very select schedule consisting mostly of music festivals and a couple Boston shows at Gillette Stadium. The schedule of his very limited appearances is listed below.
Of the eight shows he is currently doing, the first one is what I’m looking forward to the most. On April 9th Chesney will be setting the sand on fire in Fort Lauderdale for the 5th annual Tortuga Music Festival. Boom.
Location and scarcity collide for this show and it has me jittery with anticipation already!
You’ll be able to find myself and Castaway Crystal there on Fort Lauderdale beach to catch Chesney and all the other great artists during the 3-day music festival. Let me know if you’re going, I’d love to say hi!
