Photo Friday – A Key West Sunset

Key West is, in my opinion, one of the best places to watch the sunset anywhere in the world. Just look at this week’s Photo Friday picture and tell me it doesn’t leave you a little spell bound. Now just imagine being there to see it for yourself.

Every night at Mallory Square people gather to watch nature’s magic. You will not only be entertained by the dipping sun, but performers display their odd skills to the masses as well. You will see everything from pirates swallowing swords to cats walking tightropes. A Key West Mallory Square sunset really is quite an experience.

I know today is Black Friday and you might be a little on the stressed side with the busy roads and shopping crowds. Take a deep breath, let it out, and now stare at this photo for a few moments and you will feel better. I promise.

Beautiful! Would you believe all the times I’ve been to Florida I have NEVER been to Key West? I guess that’s not too surprising as it’s sort of a long haul from most places down there. Speaking of, Angie and I will be in Orlando Dec. 17-20 if you find yourself in the area! =)

Well I must agree on both counts……The sunset is INCREDIBLE and Key West is a different kind of world! Back from my cruise and I must say 1 day was NOT enough in Key West. I will be going back…….. (Beautiful Photo Ryan)!

Thanks Scott! I’ll have to check on how to do that. I also run a site called http://caribbeaneye.blogspot.com it has some pretty amazing photos as well that might be big enough to wallpaper.
    Cheers!
